MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for parts of the WREG viewing area.

The watch will be in effect until 1 a.m. Friday morning.

Tunica, Panola, Lafayette, Quitman, Coahoma, Lee and Phillips Counties are all included in the weather alert.

The entire Mid-South is currently under a Hazardous Weather Outlook.

According to the National Weather Service, strong to severe thunderstorms are possible Thursday night in North Mississippi and Northeast Arkansas.

Strong to severe storms will also be likely Friday.
